Welcome to Swadisht
At Swadisht Group of Restaurants, we’re firm believers that a good meal is the fastest way to the heart. We’ve worked hard to earn a spot among the best restaurants in Mangalore, Bannanje, Kundapura, and Brahmavar, all while focusing on what actually matters: real spices, fresh-off-the-market ingredients, and a vibe that feels like home. Whether you’re catching up with old friends over lunch or bringing the whole family together for dinner, our kitchen serves up a mix of the classic recipes you crave and a few modern twists that keep things interesting.
About Us
Our Food Philosophy
At Swadisht, our philosophy is rooted in celebrating authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. We believe great food begins with quality sourcing and a passion for culinary craftsmanship. By combining traditional recipes with modern techniques, we create dishes that are rich in taste, comforting in experience, and memorable for every guest who visits us.
About Us
Our Food Philosophy
Our secret is very simple: we just believe in quality over quantity. To stay one of the best restaurants in Mangalore, we make sure every plate is built on quality sourcing and a genuine love for cooking. We take those time-honored flavors our grandmothers used and give them a little contemporary flair, creating dishes that feel both nostalgic and exciting. It’s this local, hands-on approach that has helped us become known as the best restaurants in Kundapura and the best restaurants in Brahmavar, where the food is always honest, and the welcome is always warm.

What Our Guests Say

Drinks: You can't skip the bar—the cocktails are good and expertly executed, making for a perfect pairing with the vibrant cuisine.

We had the following: Chicken Manchow Soup, Masala Papad, Crispy Corn, Chicken Shawarma, Swadisht Chicken Platter, Burnt Garlic Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Tikka Biriyani and for beverages we had - Mint Mojito, Watermelon Mojito, Blackberry Mojito, Peach Iced Tea, Sprite, Blue Lime Soda.
All the items were served without too much of a wait, despite the crowd. The quantity and taste were good as well. The Swadisht Chicken Platter had the following items: Chicken Ghee Roast, Grilled Chicken, Black Bean Chicken and Mughlai Tikka, served with a portion of French fries, mint chutney and onion salad. The chicken tikka biriyani is served with raitha and salan.
The staff are friendly. There is limited parking space and no valet when we visited. Overall a good place to dine with a variety of options.
